Chiara Seidenader is a renowned Italian-Austrian entrepreneur and longevity advocate based in Dubai. She is the founder of Beauty Treats, the original collagen cookies company, which aims to support women struggling with digestive concerns and diabetes.
Chiara has lived in Dubai for over 6 years now. ‘’Dubai is the place that made my dreams come true. I would have never thought this would have been possible back in Italy. This is not because of the country, it’s because of the mindset.’’ Dubai sets you up for bigger goals, brighter vision, and great achievements, Chiara explained.
Her background is in marketing, social media, health and nutrition. Back in Italy, she worked for a big government company, where she got her hands on social media growth, algorithms, communication, and lead generation. The corporate world felt too tight on her and soon she decided to follow her passion for health and wellness. Despite her career in Italy and her first venture opening the biggest wellness club in the beautiful Apennines of Bologna, she accepted a job offer in Dubai. Here is where her real entrepreneurial career started.
Chiara has been consulting wellness companies ever since, and in her free time, she rounded up her income by coaching people and helping them on their fitness and nutrition journey.
‘’In my first 3 years in Dubai, I was working an average of 15 hours a day. Yet I have never felt more free.’’ 5 am and 9 pm private coaching sessions along with business consultancies during the day. She felt this was the best way to grow her network in Dubai while figuring out her next career step.
Fast forward to 2022, when she launched her company Beauty Treats. “It all happened almost like a thunderlight. I just felt like I needed to start my own business. And so I did.”
Beauty Treats are the first fully functional collagen snacks that aim to support all women struggling with digestive concerns and diabetes.
The reason why she started all of this is because back in 2020 she was diagnosed with Chron’s disease. Her endless journey through all hospitals to get the right diagnosis and the right cure for her struggle is still a dreadful memory. ‘’No cure was working and by no doctor was I ever asked what my stress levels were, what my nutrition looked like, and how my lifestyle was. This led me to dive deeper into the study of nutrition, mindset, and longevity. By adjusting my stress response, my daily nutrition, and supplementation, I was able to make the biggest changes.’’ Collagen was one of the primal supplements that helped her fix her gut. Along with only anti-inflammatory ingredients and superfoods, she created Beauty Treats, snacks with no gluten, no sugar, and no preservatives, that support a clean digestion and do not spike blood sugars (responsible for causing diabetes, inflammation, and weight gain).
The health struggles she experienced by herself and also in her family (her father died of cancer, her mum survived cancer and her sister had depression), paved the way for a bigger purpose, wanting to educate her community about the crucial importance of mindset and nutrition and how these can be the main factors to positively or negatively affect our life.
Her story was requested to go on the TEDX stage and at the end of 2023 she held her talk in Italy about ‘’Epigenetics: How to nourish body and mind’’.
Chiara is very open when she shares that on social media, everything can look perfect, easy, and thriving when this is not always true.
‘’If I could go back in time, there are many things I would change. When I launched my venture I was not aware of financial planning, I did not have any funding or partners, and mostly, I did not have anyone I knew in my circle that went through setting up a company in the food industry. Some people may say I was brave, some people might argue that this was naive, but eventually, you only learn by doing, isn’t it?’’
Chiara has been bootstrapping her company so far and yes, she is happy with the acknowledgments and growth she has received so far, but still wishes she did not need to invest all the money herself, and maybe collaborate with a partner.
‘’The biggest tip I would give to anyone starting a business would be that of getting a very good and trusted mentor. One that stands by your side, that supports you with strategy, network, and most of all, motivation. You will need a lot of it, daily. You might be the first person to give up on yourself, but when you have someone lifting you, you find renewed energy and a bigger drive, and you will be surprised to realize that that is always you, and your power. It’s just supported and given a chance to shine. It’s incredible how much the right people next to you do make the difference.’’

She is also advising companies in the wellness and longevity industry for their marketing and social media growth and overall business strategy approach. ‘’A lot of companies come to me with the main struggle: when they hire third-party marketing and social media agencies, they have specific vertical skills but they do lack the knowledge of applying an overall and horizontal strategy. Also, so many times they tell me their team lacks the right knowledge to talk about health, wellness, and longevity. This is where we come in with my team.’’
