Designer and Creative Director Kashesh Bhatia Garg starting her story growing up in Ahmedabad, India, surrounded by inspiration everywhere she went, so it was inevitable that this truly creative soul was going to start carving her own path as a fashion designer with her own unique sense of style.
For 13 years she built her reputation there and became an established fashion designer and couturier well known for her diverse talent, vivid tastes, hand crafted fabrics and silhouettes which led to multiple awards for her creativity and innovation. Kashesh is the recipient of the prestigious Goldman Sachs IIM Banglore (2019 – 2020) becoming the only chosen women entrepreneur from Gujarat….which was no small feat!
In 2016 she launched her eponymous label Kashesh. KK in Ahmedabad which drew patrons from South and East Asia, U.K., U.S.A., Australia and U.A.E.
Kashesh is known for her personalized approach towards her work and habitué.
As Kashesh was celebrated for her Design aesthetic and Creative Direction she wanted to contribute towards young fashion enthusiasts/graduates and so she began and internship program which provided valuable industry experience to over a hundred interns from all across India under her epithet. She has also been a jury for prestigious fa fion institutes like INIFD, NIFT and UID – with the vision of contributing towards creating a conscious and a sustainable eco system within the industry for future creatives.
When Kashesh moved to the UAE in 2020 she wanted to re-launch her label to move towards a completely sustainable mode of creating and working that showcased her belief that fashion is more than just clothing, that in it’s truest form it is an art form that reflects our creativity and individuality.
And so, KASHESH was created- a culmination of her passion for storytelling, artisanal craftsmanship, creativity, and excellence which blur the lines between Fashion and Art. Inspired by her Indian heritage, as well as the vibrant and dynamic culture of her new home in Dubai and the inspiration that she feels every day waking up to discover exciting new inspirations.
