Rawya Mansour is a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to sustainability and social impact. As the Founder and Chairwoman of RAMSCO Trade and Distribution in Egypt, which she launched in 2007, Rawya has pioneered eco-friendly practices in agriculture and commerce.
She expanded her mission by founding RAMSCO for Sustainable Agricultural Development in 2009 and establishing the Organic Agriculture for Social International Solidarity (OASIS) in Monaco in 2012, championing sustainable development on a global scale.
With an educational background in Commerce and Law from Cairo University, Rawya first embarked on a career in interior design, creating RAMSCO for Refined Architecture and Interior Design in 1999. This early work in creative design set the stage for her later passion for agricultural innovation and environmental solutions.
Rawya’s influence extends internationally: she is an honorary member of Egypt’s National Women’s Committee for Foreign Affairs, a member of the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation, UNDP’s IDSC, and The Earth Institute at Columbia University. Her contributions to sustainable agriculture, female empowerment, and poverty alleviation have been widely recognized. In 2017, she was honored as an Excellent Business Leader by the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, and in 2019, she received an award from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for her impactful work in sustainability.
