Meet Vini Rukhana, the vibrant Director of Divine Space Digital Technology, who has become a light of inspiration in the world of entrepreneurship. “Empowered women empower the world.” These words encapsulate the journey of Vini Rukhana. As the Director, she has been instrumental in transforming the digital landscape with her innovative solutions and creative approach. We had a fun and informative meeting with her sharing about top digital businesses and excited to reveal some fascinating facts and some insightful morsels she provided with us about her entrepreneurial experience in this read.
Starting with her early journey, Vini told us the inspiration behind founding Divine Space Digital and Divine Space Design,
“Coming from a business family, I wanted to carve a niche for myself independently, after completing my education in Psychology and gaining valuable experience at Lowe Lintas, one of India’s premier ad agencies, I realized my passion for design and creativity. That’s when Divine Space Digital Technology was born.
We were initially focusing on the real estate sector and, later expanding into digital solutions and design. We started business in Dubai by consulting our partner network in setting up video walls for the Dubai Economic Department (DED), Dubai Gold Souk (DGS), and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). We expanded in India by setting up video walls at Mumbai International Airport managed by Adani Enterprises (formally managed by GVK), Delhi International Airport managed by GMR, and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. We introduced asymmetrical video walls at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, marking the first time this design was used in Asia. I used to handle the social media for our parent company which is into real estate and we have a team to do this. During my sister-in-law’s wedding, while searching for cards we didn’t like what the creators were doing. I designed the wedding card and everyone loved it. From there onwards I started doing wedding cards.” She added.
Vini’s leadership style is friendly and open, and she provides an immense creative space to her team, encouraging them to discuss different ideas. Vini shared her way of blending artistic creativity with technological innovation and digital solutions,
“At Divine Space Digital Technology, we craft wedding cards that tell a unique story, bringing a personal touch to each design. With my extensive experience, I have honed the skills to design impactful pamphlets and innovative animated videos. For instance, we created animated videos for Mumbai International Airport, seamlessly blending this expertise into our wedding card designs.
Our tech team is well-versed in managing video file sizes, which is crucial for optimizing the length and quality of the videos displayed on video walls. This technical know-how allows us to determine the appropriate duration for each video, ensuring a perfect balance between visual appeal and technical feasibility. By leveraging our creative and technical expertise, we deliver wedding cards and videos that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also technically sound.” She affirmed.
Navigating Challenges and Embracing Change is crucial in every business. We asked Vini to share some of the most significant challenges she had faced in revolutionizing the Indian wedding industry with her bespoke video invites, and she said,
“One of the biggest challenges we face is navigating the transition from traditional to digital communication, particularly in the context of wedding cards. This involves not only coordinating between my team and the bride and groom but also engaging with their extended families. When it comes to wedding cards, everyone wants to be included in the process.
The older generation often prefers a slower, more traditional approach, valuing the tactile experience and nostalgia associated with classic wedding invitations. On the other hand, the younger generation leans towards a faster-paced, digital experience that aligns with modern trends and convenience. Balancing these differing preferences to create a wedding card that satisfies everyone’s tastes can be quite challenging. It requires careful consideration, creative flexibility, and open communication to ensure that the final product honours tradition while embracing innovation.” She explained the process.
Vini continued, “The content we create is incredibly dynamic and vibrantly colourful, all while maintaining the brand’s aesthetics. Our visuals are not only eye-catching but also ensure clear and effective communication, allowing viewers to easily retain the information presented.
We meticulously size and strategically place the screens, often using uniquely shaped displays to enhance the visual experience. Through these thoughtfully designed screens, we tell compelling stories, bringing art to life in motion. This approach allows us to blend creativity with strategic design, captivating audiences and delivering messages in a memorable and impactful way.” She added her thoughts on enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction through their digital solutions for airports and hospitals.
Sharing success stories is always motivating. We asked Vini to share a success story where her digital solutions significantly impacted a client’s business and she replied,
“At Adani airports, we reach an impressive audience of over 15 million passengers each year. Given India’s incredible diversity and the high traffic at Indian airports, these hubs rank among the busiest in the world. Our passengers range from first-time travellers to frequent flyers, navigating varying rules at different airports.
Our strategically placed video walls play a crucial role in this dynamic environment. By using clear icons and providing content in both English and Hindi, we effectively communicate essential information. Whether it’s pre-security instructions, post-security procedures, or general lineup guidelines, our bilingual approach ensures that everyone, regardless of their familiarity with air travel, can easily understand and follow the necessary steps. This commitment to clarity and accessibility helps us maintain high standards and enhance the travel experience for all.” She blushed with pride.
In today’s business landscape, sustainability has become a focal point for many organizations, and no one is an exception. Divine Space Digital and Divine Space Design incorporate sustainable practices in their operations. Vini answered,
“All our wedding invitations are primarily digital, but we also accommodate specific requests for printed versions. Recognizing that weddings often involve multiple functions with varied guest lists, we ensure that each event’s invitations are curated meticulously.
To support sustainability, we create separate PDFs for each function, allowing us to produce printed invitations selectively. We focus on printing only for essential events, such as temple ceremonies and religious practices, significantly reducing the number of printed cards. This approach minimizes paper usage, aligning with our commitment to eco-friendly practices.
We prioritize digital invites for larger functions with extensive guest lists, while more intimate gatherings receive personalized printed invitations. We effectively balance tradition with modern sustainability by embracing digital solutions and limiting physical prints. This thoughtful strategy meets our client’s needs and promotes environmental responsibility, helping us contribute to a greener future.”

“Future trends are embracing themes inspired by animals and jungles, bringing a touch of the wild into designs. Bright, pop-up colours are also gaining popularity, adding vibrancy and energy to various settings.
