Aliye, you are heading the PR company TOPCITY. How did you come to this type of business, why PR?
From childhood, I sang, played the piano, and danced, but I noticed a significant difference in promoting similarly talented children who were being mentored by professional producers. I had good results
in competitions, always placing in the top three among winners, but I didn’t have a skyrocketing music career. And among my music colleagues, there are names of famous performers.
Over time, I realized the value of PR. It is a tool through which paintings by promoted artists are sold for millions of dollars, and well-known names work on them as a good recommendation for a student, meaning they bring benefits to the established ones.
It turns out that PR increases the value of the product, right?
Yes, but not only that. The product can be a personal brand – a person, as well as any product. PR not only increases the average check (cost) due to trust in the promoted product, but also creates excitement (interest in itself), which means easier access to funds. PR is primarily an investment. And no less important than an investment made in the production of goods.
Tell about TOPCITY please . What are the achievements for today?
TOPCITY is currently a PR & MEDIA Group that works with the top global media, TV,events and awards, as well as the most prestigious beauty pageants. It also collaborates and does outdoor advertising in 12 countries, has its own magazines in the USA, Europe, and Ukraine, and has a VIP distribution of its ISSUES among 5-star hotels in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as well as in restaurants and beauty salons in
Dubai, Ukraine, and London.

In our case work with top people and organizing events which visited such famous guests as Dsquired designers and other prominent guests who have visited Dubai. Those time we were collaborated with Armani Hotel Dubai & Armani Flowers. Our clients’ names are featured on the front pages and covers of magazines such as Vogue, Hasper’s Bazaar, Forbes, Elle, Lofficiel, Glamour, and many others. Our clients are alsodisplayed on famous billboards, including Times Square.
We also make different collaborations, promotions for our clients who are represent brands . Publish books, and organize sponsorship for promoting brands for the most prestigious projects. I can talk a lot about it ).
I want to ask you a direct question. You never mention an investor in your achievements. How did you achieve everything on your own?
My close ones know how and what I had to go through when you are a mother who has been raising a child on her own since early childhood and taking all the steps up the career ladder in a new country without any connections. It’s truly challenging, and it’s true that there have never been any investors in my biography.

Furthermore, the lack of assistance and an investor led me to acquire the knowledge and skills to start a business with almost no resources. It’s a tough journey, but the projects were successful!
Let me give you an example of one of my projects: a network of talent schools in Ukraine. I opened 12 schools with minimal investments, and they were incredibly successful! All I had at that time was $3500
in savings and a partner (a friend) with whom (you won’t believe it) we opened the first 8 branches in just 2 months! The remaining 4 were opened in a couple more months.
In short, everything is possible. But without financial resources, be prepared to invest a lot of time, nerves, experience, knowledge, and pay with your hard work for what you would have gained if you had invested
money.
Who do you think is a brand person?
A person who found his zest and made it his way of implementation and monetization. And in modern times, this zest is not something that we are accustomed to consider only as a virtue. If you notice, new trends are also what we previously would have considered disadvantages. But everything is individual
and depends on what goal the person is pursuing.

I think many people would like to work with you. Are there criteria for selecting clients or can I just write to you and get a contract with your PR company?
Different. It all depends on the projects that are currently in progress. If I take on a new client, I calculate my time and energy for him. If you have a desire to develop your personal brand or product, it doesn’t matter, you can write to us by email or business what’s up, if your project is particularly interesting, my managers will transfer you to me. There are projects that I personally assist.
