The delegation’s guided tour took them through the heart of Chora, where they discovered the island’s rich history and cultural heritage.
The first stop was the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, a treasure trove of artifacts that tell the story of the island’s ancient past. From intricate pottery to statues and relics from the neighboring island of Delos, the museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of those who once inhabited these lands.

The visit continued at the Maritime Museum, where the group delved into Mykonos’ storied maritime history. From the age of sail to modern times, we explored fascinating exhibits that showcased the island’s rich seafaring heritage, including ancient navigational tools, ship models, and accounts of legendary voyages that have shaped Mykonos into a maritime hub through the centuries.
The Museum’s exhibits include ship models from the pre-Minoan period to the early 20th century, historical maritime documents, rare engravings and charts, ancient artefacts, nautical instruments, fittings and tools, as well as coins with nautical themes from the 5th century BC to the 5th century AD.

We concluded our day with an unforgettable dining experience at Camares Pool Restaurant, set against the backdrop of the stunning Elia Beach in Mykonos.
