Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, she leveraged her academic knowledge to lay the foundation for her entrepreneurial endeavors. Her passion for entrepreneurship ignited when she founded Kuwait’s first private firm dedicated to nurturing and empowering SMEs. This groundbreaking initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Kuwaiti government and esteemed international organizations such as UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and the World Bank.
One of Abrar’s notable achievements was her pivotal role in the success of the first GCC reality TV show for entrepreneurs. This groundbreaking program not only showcased entrepreneurial talent but also provided a platform for aspiring business leaders to shine.
Her commitment to fostering entrepreneurship extended beyond Kuwait’s borders. Abrar played a crucial role in international agreements aimed at advancing entrepreneurship. Notably, she was instrumental in an agreement to promote entrepreneurship in the Middle East region through the Global Entrepreneurship Program, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State.
Abrar’s vision led to the establishment of the “Future Consultations and Strategies” company, which garnered extensive experience in the SME development sector. The company collaborated with Gulf and international governments on numerous strategic projects. One notable achievement was the company’s shift towards the industrial sector, where it established a factory and a business incubator. This innovative approach contributed to the creation of a new industrial landscape, featuring small factories designed to meet the needs of the entire Middle East region.
Apart from her remarkable achievements in the business realm, Abrar has a profound passion for organizing events and conferences. This passion translated into her obtaining accreditation from the State of Kuwait, allowing her company to be among the approved entities for presidential and official events in the country.
Abrar’s contributions to entrepreneurship and SME development have not gone unnoticed. She has received several prestigious international awards, including the League of Arab States Award for Arab Youth in the entrepreneurship sector. Her dedication to supporting entrepreneurship was further recognized when she was honored with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Award for the best entity supporting entrepreneurship.
In recognition of her leadership and commitment to driving change, Abrar was selected by the Kuwaiti government to participate in the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University in New York.
