Originally from Russia, Elena Luneva moved to Dubai and has been living in this bustling and progressive city for the last 13 years. Her life has always revolved around her love for fashion, and it’s this passion that has taken her on an incredible journey.
A Fashionable Beginning
Elena’s fascination with fashion started at a young age. During her teenage years, she ventured into the world of modeling, providing her with a glimpse of the fashion industry’s inner workings.
Driven by her passion, Elena established her own fashion brand, where she curated captivating capsule collections tailored exclusively for women. Her educational journey led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing, which, coupled with her professional experience in PR Marketing, allowed her to gain valuable skills and insights into the business world. Her heart remained steadfastly devoted to fashion though!
Rekindling the Fashion Flame in Dubai
Eventually, Elena decided to prioritize her true passion for fashion. She took a pivotal step by enrolling in the “Personal & Celebrity Styling” course at the FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style in Dubai. This marked the beginning of a transformative period in her life, as she delved into the art of styling.
Mastering the Craft in Italy
In 2021, Elena and her family relocated to the charming city of Verona, Italy. Here, she seized the opportunity to further enhance her fashion knowledge and enrolled in a prestigious fashion school. Over the course of 1.5 years, Elena immersed herself in theoretical and practical aspects of fashion, art direction, and styling, ultimately earning her Master’s degree in Fashion Styling & Art Direction.
During her time in Italy, Elena collaborated with various international fashion brands, serving as their ambassador on social media platforms. She also worked as a personal stylist in both Dubai and Milan, actively participating in Milan Fashion Weeks and contributing to editorial and e-commerce campaigns across the UAE and Italy.
Return to Dubai
Elena, with her family, has now returned to Dubai, where she is actively expanding her network of like-minded individuals in the fashion industry. Her passion for personal styling remains undiminished, and she continues to work as a personal stylist with the award winning, international style and image consultancy in Dubai – Style Doctors.
Her dream is to style commercial and editorial projects in Dubai and collaborate with renowned fashion publications like Vogue Arabia.
