Harmonizing Hearts: The Melodic Journey of Lina Lava

Lina Lava, is the artistic name of Elena Drozdova, a singer and songwriter originally from Dnipro, Ukraine, but currently based in Abu Dhabi and her journey as a singer started when she was only 5 years old, when she realized how talented and inclined to the creative side she was. And after receiving a major boost of motivation from her first teacher of vocal, it became clear to her that she was destined to follow a career as a musician. 

Those interactions Lina Lava had with her were the main reason she decided to continue studying music and when the time arrived, she enrolled in the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music to pursue a Bachelor Degree in Opera Vocal.

Finally, in 2019, after finishing her degree, she started to compose her own songs and work as a vocalist, being able to perform in various different countries around the world. This allowed her to perform in various stages, with a diverse range of different artists and backgrounds, and those experiences and exposure to different cultures played a major role in improving her live performance skills and her stunning sound. And that is something that is very noticeable when listening to her songs, the sense of diversity, the refinement, ability to resonate with every single person, not only because of the impactful message of her song, but also thanks to her voice, which is the main tool Lina Lava has been refining during all of these years to best transmit her message. 

Lina Lava takes her work VERY seriously, her dedication to deliver the best songs possible is unmatched, that’s why since 2019 she has been working on her debut album, meticulously crafting her art, designing and refining every single detail to release not just a music album, but an experience, a life changing experience that promises to elevate the way we see, listen and define music as an art form. 

After participating in the Abu Dhabi TV show “Win the CRowd” in 2022, she released her first single “Peace Song”, which is a massive message to the current world situation and specifically, to what is happening in Ukraine, her home country. The second single is “Adventure”, released in 2023. In “Adventure”, she shares her personal experiences and emotional truth about living in Dubai. It is a song about love, about living the best of our lives and creating happy and memorable experiences that will last forever in our lives.

Her third single is called “Universe” and just like “Adventure”, its official release was also in Dubai. In “Universe”, Lina Lava shares with us how amazing it is to find the love of our lives, how inspiring live is, so inspiring that when we find love, we finally have the chance to feel what real happiness really and how strong the love of two people is, being able to accomplish everything desired, even the impossible. 

As a very open minded person Lina Lava is, she is always open to explore and defy herself, leaving the comfort zone to unlock the full potential of her creativity and she is able to accomplish that by exploring new and different music genres. One of those genres she had as a target for a while is afro-beat. She ended up partnering up with Sammyoung, one of the top African and award winning music producers, and her most recent single “Forever”, was born. 

As Lina Lava keeps working on her highly anticipated album and with the “Forever” video finally released, she became one of the most sought after musicians in Dubai, both for live performances and concerts all around the globe, also for media apparitions on radio stations such as  Dubaieye 1038 FM, as well as on TV stations such as Dubai One TV.
