Arif’s journey to the helm of Microsoft Egypt began in 2020, but her impact was already felt in prior roles. Serving as the Surface Business Group Director for Middle East and Africa at Microsoft in Dubai, she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s direction. From 2017 to 2019, Arif held the title of Regional Director for Digital Transformation at GE Oil & Gas, where she directed the digital transformation strategy in North Africa and Turkey, showcasing her versatility and strategic acumen.
Beyond the corporate sphere, Mirna Arif has dedicated her expertise to various boards and advisory positions. As a board member of Banque Misr, Rameda Pharma, and the Egypt Chamber of Information Technology, she actively contributes to shaping diverse sectors. Her involvement with the Supreme Advisory Board of Al Nas Hospital and the Advisory Board of UNICEF Gen-U Egypt reflects her commitment to social causes.
A strong advocate for digital transformation, Arif serves as the Co-Chair of the Digital Transformation Committee at The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (Amcham Egypt). Mirna Arif’s educational background is equally impressive, holding a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and a Bachelor of Science (BSC) in computer science from the same institution. Her academic prowess, coupled with her extensive experience, positions Arif as a driving force behind Microsoft Egypt’s endeavors to lead the nation into a digitally empowered future.
