Andrea Constant was one of 63 women who told how they’d been drugged and sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby. She was the first female to stand up to all that power, which helped lead to the #MeToo movement.
Her testimony helped convince jurors in a Pennsylvania courtroom to convict Bill Cosby on three counts of aggravated indecent assault in 2018. He was convicted and sentenced to serve three to 10 years in prison. Later, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned that conviction, citing what the prosecutor called “a procedural issue.”
Now, the author of THE MOMENT, STANDING UP TO BILL COSBY, SPEAKING UP FOR WOMEN, provides intimate access to her and her family through the documentary, The Case Against Cosby, which reveals how one woman’s unstoppable courage and search for justice helped raise the voices of an entire generation of women seeking lasting change.
Woven throughout the stunning legal story are the first-person accounts of five other Cosby survivors, as they confront the impact of sexual trauma with world-renowned physician and best-selling author Gabor Maté. We will bear witness to the power of healing as these women find strength in one other.
