The new feature film,Galaxy 360: A Woman’s Playground, satirizes a distant future where women rule the world. In the year 2195, a beauty pageant is held for men, where they primp, preen and compete with one another, stressing about being fat, practicing for their talent show, and interacting with Illumina, the flamboyant media personality and hostess of the Mr. World Beauty Pageant. A dystopian romance emerges between Illumina and one of the contestants, and we are confronted with questions about love, sex and fairness in 2195.
Director Anna Fishbeyn is set to unveil her film “Galaxy 360: A Woman’s Playground,” with a dazzling premiere at New York City’s Angelika Film Center on Wednesday, September 13th, via an immersive cinematic experience, drawing inspiration from the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show.
