Dr. Navnet Vir Randhawa: Medicine, Leadership, and the Power of Women to Hold Many Roles

As editors at Womenpreneur, we are often drawn to stories where purpose and precision move in parallel. Dr. Navnet Vir Randhawa’s journey stands out not because it fits a familiar narrative, but because it quietly redefines what modern leadership in medicine and business can look like when guided by responsibility, clarity, and service.

A Norwegian medical doctor by training, Dr. Navnet began her career in the United Kingdom, working within the NHS for four years. The experience shaped her clinical discipline and exposed her to complex healthcare systems and diverse patient populations. Yet even in this structured environment, she sensed that her contribution could extend beyond a traditional clinical role. That awareness became the turning point, not a departure from medicine, but an expansion of how medicine could be applied.

After relocating to Oslo, she founded her first aesthetic clinic, followed by three dental clinics. These ventures marked her transition from clinician to founder, placing her at the intersection of patient care, leadership, and operational design. Her work focused on creating organized, ethical clinical environments that supported both patients and healthcare professionals, reflecting her belief that strong systems are essential for sustainable care.

Her leadership took on a deeper dimension when war broke out in Ukraine. Drawing on years of volunteer work with the Red Cross, Dr. Navnet established large scale refugee accommodation in a hotel setting in Oslo. Her company was awarded a government contract to support thousands of refugees, and she was asked to establish and lead an on site medical clinic. Working daily as the primary clinician alongside a nurse, she treated patients who had often lived without consistent access to healthcare for years. The experience reinforced her understanding of global healthcare inequality and the long term cost of limited access to accurate medical care.

Dr. Navnet brings more than a decade of medical experience across the UK and Norway. As her clinical interests evolved, she completed a postgraduate degree in clinical dermatology, strengthening her expertise in skin health and long term patient outcomes. Completing this degree during pregnancy in 2024 reflected a period of intense focus and discipline, shaped further by Norway’s emphasis on regulated care, prevention, and patient safety.

Following the completion of the refugee accommodation contract, she opened and now operates a hotel in Oslo focused on short term stays. While still in its early years, the property reflects her continued interest in building structured and supportive environments. She plans to develop it into a Nordic wellness hotel, extending her philosophy of care into hospitality.

Alongside these ventures, Dr. Navnet continues to volunteer her medical services with the Red Cross, providing care to migrants without legal status. This work remains central to her identity as a doctor and reinforces her commitment to equitable access to healthcare and reliable medical information.

A recurring challenge in her clinical practice was seeing patients overwhelmed by skincare choices and misinformation. This led to the creation of Clinica.no, an online platform offering doctor curated medical grade skincare. The platform was designed to simplify decision making and extend clinical expertise beyond physical clinics. Following strong growth in Norway, Clinica.no is now expanding into North America, Europe, and the Middle East, guided by medical leadership and clinical standards.

In recent years, Dr. Navnet has also focused on sharing evidence informed medical education through public platforms. In an online space crowded with misinformation, she sees it as a professional responsibility for clinicians to speak clearly and publicly. Her educational focus includes women’s health, menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, and long term prevention, with plans to scale this work further in 2026 alongside Clinica.no’s international expansion.

As Mrs Norway World, she uses public visibility as a platform for advocacy rather than symbolism. Through international appearances and events, she brings attention to women’s health and leadership and will represent Norway at Mrs World in January 2026.

Looking ahead, Dr. Navnet is exploring the establishment of a medical aesthetic and longevity clinic in the Middle East, inspired by Nordic values of simplicity, balance, and nature informed wellbeing. The concept brings together skin health, aesthetic medicine, and longevity care within a physician led setting focused on thoughtful, long term treatment planning.

At the heart of her journey is a clear belief that women are not defined by a single role. As a doctor, founder, mother, and wife, Dr. Navnet Vir Randhawa represents the reality that ambition, care, leadership, and personal fulfillment can exist together. Her work does not argue this idea. It demonstrates it.
