Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi has been awarded the prestigious Officer Rank of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, one of Italy’s highest civilian honors, in recognition of her outstanding efforts to strengthen cultural, educational, and diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Italy.
The decoration was presented by Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, on behalf of the President of the Italian Republic during an official ceremony held in the UAE on 13 July.
